Built a partner integration that collapses the customer's domain-setup flow with a third-party site builder down to a single click — pre-configured DNS templates, no manual TXT/CNAME wrangling.

DNS Integration API

Context

Customers using third-party site builders historically had to fumble through manual DNS records to point a domain at Dewaweb’s infrastructure — a step that drops conversion every time it appears. We wanted that whole sequence collapsed to one click for the partner builders we work with.

What I built

End-to-end on Dewaweb’s side:

One-click handshake between the partner builder and Dewaweb’s DNS layer.
Pre-configured DNS record templates so the customer never sees a TXT/CNAME field unless they want to.
Error states designed for non-technical users — failures explain what to do, not just what happened.

Outcome

Dewaweb side is finished and live — the integration is gated on partner-side rollout. Removes a known friction point in the onboarding flow once both ends ship.
